The detection tests that Gynecological Center will offer you during the first trimester of pregnancy , include a blood analysis between the weeks 11 and 13.6 with complementary ultrasound, which will evaluate the nuchal translucency, nasal bone between other measures included in this study and which is called Duo-Test or Duo-Marker.

  • General Urine Screening: in all the visits during the second trimester, the specialist may request a general urine screening in order to detect infections of the urinary tract, as well as detecting any sign of preeclampsia.
  • Structural Ultrasound: from week 18 to week 23. This is an ultrasound consisting in the scan of the structural development and growth of your baby.
  • Quadruple Marker: from weeks 15 to 18. This is a blood analysis that provides the information about the risk for chromosomal alterations (such as the Down syndrome).
